The peak is at the Bulgarian border with Serbia so it’s a good idea to warn the border police. You have 1300m elevation gain and almost no flat areas so be prepared for a challenging hike. There’s a water fountain along the way but it’s not on the main path, check the AllTrails link below to see where it is, the water is good – I personally checked it.
